One of the greatest players to grace Europe in the 1990's. A prolific goalscorer at international level, the forward was at his best playing just behind the front men, where his clever passes bewildered opposition defenses. The Dutchman scored memorable goals for every team he played for. His last minute winner in the 1998 World Cup quarter final against Argentina was probably his best ever.A major force for Holland , when they were beaten semi-finalists in the EURO 2000 Championships Dennis retired from international football gaining 79 Caps for Holland,scoring 37 goals.
There have been many great players who have played for Manchester United and the have all scored great goals at Old Trafford. Dennis Law.
Law was born on February 24th 1940 in Aberdeen, Scotland.He signed for signed to Huddersfield Town in 1955.Dennis had spells with Manchester City and Italian team Torino.It was a then record signing of £115,000 on 18th August 1962, that took Dennis Law to Manchester United.Here his career really picked up and he achieved his legendary status.

For me the greatest goal scored at Old Ttrafford was by Dennis, his great back-heel for Manchester City v M anchester Utd in last game of the 1973–74 season . After a great run by Franny Lee who took out three players, he then slipped the ball back to Law who promptly back-heeled the ball into the back of the net.Law's lack of celebration was because his goal had relegated United, however they would have been relegated even if the match had been drawn.
